Whipped Body Butter

Review: Winks and Co.'s Whipped Body Butter
by Kristen Magee, anise&currant editor-in-chief

I was intrigued by Winks and Co.'s approach to their bath and body business. Instead of offering many different products, they've decided to sell only one product and to make this product as kick butt as it can be. Let me tell you, they've succeeded.

Anyone who has tried body butter has probably come to have certain expectations of body butters, in general. I tend to think that they're thick and heavy in texture and that they're very moisturizing, but they do tend to take time to sink into the skin. Winks and Co.'s Whipped Body Butter turns this notion on its head. Not only is their whipped body butter light and mousse-like in texture, but it also takes little time to sink into the skin and leaves my skin feeling moisturized and very silky.

Now, about the scents…Buttery Maple Sugar and Pumpkin Cheesecake are both bakery perfection! I seem to have the "eat my own appendages" reaction to many of the bakery products that I try, and these two scents are no exception. If you're into the bakery scented bath and body craze, then you should check out these two scents. I have a few more scents that I have yet to try, but out of the jar they all smell great, and I will be adding reviews for these here as soon as I try them.

If you're looking for a body butter that sets itself apart and makes your skin satin-y smooth, you've got to check out Winks and Co. Winks and Co.'s whipped body butters are available in a variety of scents, including fresh, fruity, and bakery options.
