Besides loving the company name (Soapylove…how clever is that?), I also love Soapylove's unique take on glycerin soap. It's soap; it's a popsicle; no, it's a soapsicle! The Candy Cane Soapsicle delights my visual sense with festive red stripes and a little bow, while my olfactory senses are joyous over its snappy mint scent. What can I say? Soapylove makes me feel the love.
Who knew that a lavender and pumpkin scent combination could be so beguiling? Well, now I know. Herbal lavender and warm pumpkin come together to form the scent behind Flower Peddler's Lavender Pumpkins Handmade Soap. I have to admit to being somewhat superficial with regard to this soap, though I do enjoy the scent, as it's just wonderful looking with its pumpkin colored bottom and creamy white top.
Anytime a scent description has the word psychotic in it, I have to give it a whirl, even if it is only slightly psychotic. Villainess' Ginger Snapped Handmade Soap is a wonderful choice for the holiday season, as its warm and spicy scent will make you want to snuggle up and embrace yourself…not in an "I'm being forced to embrace myself because they just put the straight jacket on and are securing it in the back" kind of way unless, of course, you like that kind of thing.
Sweet, floral jasmine and black tea create a standout fragrance in Wylde Ivy's Black Tea Jasmine Handmade Soap. The pretty bits of dried flowers on the top make this quite an attractive gift, too, and it even comes in its own muslin drawstring bag. Mom and sis' will be quite the happy campers if they find one of these in their stockings.
